Zdarzenie miało miejsce we wtorek, 12.10.br. tuż przed godziną 12:00. Na dwóch prowadzących ścinkę mężczyzn zaczęło upadać ścinane drzewo.
Jednemu z poszkodowanych udało się w ostatniej chwili odskoczyć, drugi zaś nie miał tyle szczęścia i został przygnieciony.
Ratownicy po dotarciu na miejsce stwierdzili, że poszkodowany jest już wyciągnięty spod drzewa i nie wykazuje oznak życia. Niestety reanimacja nie przyniosła skutku - stwierdzono zgon mężczyzny.
Jak się okazało, ofiarą wypadku był 28-letni mieszkaniec gminy Strzyżewice.
